In a car factory, production, training and administration are closely linked. A shift in one plan affects the others.
The challenge
Planning for production, training and administration ran through different tools that had little connection to the operational processes.
Planning therefore took a lot of time and led to mistakes. There was a need for one system that is easy to use and grows with the organisation.
The approach
We built a planning tool around the VDL Nedcar workflow, with one central system for collaboration and data.
The solution
Production planning, training and administration are connected in one tool. A shared dashboard shows everyone the same status, notifications keep milestones and tasks in view, and plans can be adjusted straight away when practice asks for it.
